Madison Omahne (Married Name: Madison Hendry) received her MFA in Sculpture in 2011 from Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, NY, graduating in the top 10% of her class and her BFA in Sculpture from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL in 2009.  She studied under the influential contemporary artists such as; Vito Acconci, Patricia Cronin, Blane de St. Croix and Tom Scicluna.  Madison has exhibited internationally, including being showcased in Project AfterBirth; the first ever international exhibition on the subject of early parenthood located in the UK. 

She is a currently working towards her “breastfeeding educator certification” as a part of her ongoing project, “Mama Bird”.  This project is dedicated to provide education, support, and access to resources within the artist’s community to protect the mother/baby relationship, empower families and advocate the importance of breastfeeding.
